Vendor Invitation and Application

The National Quilting Association, Inc. invites you to submit your application to participate as a vendor at the 39th Annual Quilt Show.

Venue: Hall C, Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio

Friday, June 20 9 am-6 pm Show and vendor mall open
Saturday, June 21 9 am-6 pm Show and vendor mall open
6-10 pm Vendor move out

Selection: The National Quilting Association, Inc. selects participants for the vendor mall based on several considerations. A mix of product and vendors - some represented previously, some new, and some local. Participation in an NQA show does not automatically guarantee inclusion in the next. A balance of product and a controlled number of vendors offers a better chance for all participants to enjoy a successful show.

Booth availability: Various booth selections are available. Sizes range from 10' to 40'. In response to continuing requests, sponsor booths are offered. These guarantee that the booth will be placed in the first section of the vendor area and are available on a first come, first served basis. Please read the accompanying booth information carefully and make your selection. Also please note that larger sized booths are available only in limited quantity.

Booth locations are assigned with consideration given to application receipt dates, size request, competing products, and overall presentation of the vendor mall. In 2008, all booths face exhibits or other booths.

Services, such as telephone and electricity, are obtained through the Convention Center. Additional furnishings and shipping services are obtained through the show decorator. A booth package with complete information and appropriate forms will be provided to all contracted vendors approximately 8-10 weeks before the show.

To submit your application for THIS show:
Fill out and return a vendor application, with deposit check payable to NQA for the requested booth size, by September 15, 2007 to the Vendor Coordinator. The address is listed at the bottom of the application form.

Applications will be processed and selections made. Contracts will be issued on October 15, 2007. Applications received after September 15 will be placed on the wait list and considered only if vacancies occur.

Please note: An ACTIVE e-mail address is most important. Vital information concerning your contract and issues pertaining to the show will be communicated in this form. Do not include it if you do not use it. Websites are also very important in promoting you and the show. Be certain that you have accurately listed an active site address.

Important Dates

  • September 15, 2007 - Application and deposit check due.
  • October 15, 2007 - Contracts issued with tax information, balance due form, show book advertising form.
  • December 15, 2007 - Signed contracts, balance on booth rental, information form, advertising form due. Deposit becomes non-refundable.
  • April 1, 2008 - Booth information package mailed to contracted vendors.
