Michealeen Weatherby
Aka - Mike Weatherby
I have had an interest in sewing and handwork for many years. Out of the blue, in the early '90's, I decided to take a quilting class and have been dedicated to continuing my education and improving my skills in my chosen art form ever since. I have also shown a certain dedication in helping the economy at every quilt store I happen to drive past. After taking many classes, I read an article about quilt guilds. Until that time I was totally unaware of these organizations. After attending my first meeting I was so relieved, there were others out there who were having the same questions and concerns as I. Since then I have been President of my guild, Quintessential Quilters in Columbus, Ohio and have served on several committees. In 2003 I was co-chair with Peggy Notestine for the first NQA Show in Columbus, Ohio, and have helped with the Little Quilt Auction since the Show returned to Columbus in 2005.
