"Black and White Jazz Syncopation"
Valerie Deas
76" x 76"
I have always wanted to make a quilt using shade and tint with splashing bits of color. It is like looking at a black and white jazz DVD where the musicians and the background is in black and white and the instruments are in color.
Completed: June 2006
Technique: Foundation pieced, machine and hand sewn
Fiber: Solid, batik, patterned cotton fabrics
Dimension: 76" x 76"
Artist: Valerie Deas
