Ayanna Ricco is a wife and mother of two children. She is New York born, Harlem bred and continues to reside in Harlem. Ayanna is a clinical nurse specialist with an expertise is critical care. Her vocation is African Dance which she has studied in varied forms since 1979. She has participated in HGQC since its inception. She is a novice quilter but truly enjoys learning from her fellow comrades and sisters.
Her exhibit quilt in 2004, James Brown Moon Over The Mountain, was her very first attempt at quilting.
