"In the Garden"

This quilt features redwork embroidery with designs from many sources, some which were adapted for needlework There is also white Queen Anne's Lace embroidery in the border. The quilt is machine pieced, hand quilted, hand embroidered, and embellished with folded fabric and red and white buttons.

Vija is a charter member of the Wiltwyck Quilters Guild and a member of the Catskill Quilters Hall of Fame. A Kingston resident, her other hobbies include her garden and growing orchids.
