The NQA 45th Annual Quilt Show will again be held in the C pod of the Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC), centrally located in Columbus, Ohio, and easily commuted to by air or auto.
Drivers can reach Columbus via two major interstates that intersect near downtown: I-70 (east-west) and I-71 (north-south). I-670 connects the airport to downtown, and I-270 circles the city. For construction information, go to pavingtheway.org or call 614-645-PAVE.
Visitors flying into the city arrive at Port Columbus International Airport (614-239-4000; flycolumbus.com), located just 10 minutes east of downtown and served by the following carriers: Air Canada, AirTran, American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, United, and US Airways.
Megabus (877-462-6342; megabus.com) serves Columbus with drop-offs near The Ohio State University campus and downtown Columbus - just across Nationwide from the Convention Center block.
It's easy to get around Ohio's capital. Public transportation is provided by Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA, 614-228-1776 or cota.com). Normal bus fare is $2; express fare $2.75. View maps of all bus routes at cota.com or click on the bus icon when getting directions on maps.google.com. COTA makes it easy to ride:
1) Know where you want to go.
2) Use the Google Trip Planner on cota.com to find your bus number and departure time.
3) Arrive at the bus stop five minutes before departure.
4) Get on board and pay your fare. You will need exact change.
5) At your destination, exit out the back door.
Taxi service is widely available. The average fare from Port Columbus International Airport to downtown is $22. Download the app from Yellow Cab (614-444-4444, yellowcabofcolumbus.com) to order a cab and track its progress to your location in real-time.
Bicycles are available via CoGo Bike Share (855-877-2646, cogobikeshare.com) at 30 stations throughout downtown.

The NQA 45th Annual Quilt Show will be located in the C Pod of the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The large exhibit hall will house the extensive Vendor Mall and the Quilts on Exhibition. Classroom space is conveniently located just off the vendor mall.
